Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Darjeeling

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to Darjeeling, a scenic journey of approximately 95 kilometers taking around 3 hours. Darjeeling, once the summer capital of India, is renowned for its diverse natural beauty and the hospitality of its Himalayan inhabitants. Enveloped by sprawling tea gardens, this quaint town offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayan peaks. After reaching Darjeeling, check-in to your hotel, and take some time to relax. Later, you can explore the town on foot, immersing yourself in its unique culture. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling’s best attractions. Visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop War Memorial, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (closed on Sundays), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, and drive past Tea Estates & Japanese Peace Pagoda. Take a leisurely stroll around the Mall and Local Market (closed on Thursdays) in the evening. Enjoy free time for shopping and individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: The visit to Tiger Hill is subject to permit availability obtained on the previous evening.

Day 3: Transfer to Gangtok

In the morning, proceed to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, situated at an altitude of 5500 feet. The journey covers a distance of approximately 105 kilometers and takes around 4 hours. Gangtok is renowned for its pristine monasteries and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the evening at leisure, indulging in individual activities. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 4: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Begin your day with an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12400 feet, approximately 32 kilometers from Gangtok. This sacred lake is revered by the locals and offers breathtaking natural beauty. Continue the trip to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to the memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh. Spend the evening exploring Gangtok, indulging in shopping and personal activities.

For foreign passport holders, Gangtok local sightseeing will be offered instead of the Tsomgo Lake visit, covering attractions like Chortan, Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tak, Hanuman Tak, Bhakthang Falls, and Gojang Monastery.

Day 5: Departure from Gangtok

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, approximately 114 kilometers away, for your onward journey. The tour concludes here.
